Expressing satisfaction over the proposed meeting between Prime Ministers of India and Pakistan on the sidelines of UN general Assembly session, the Hurriyat Conference (M) on Thursday said any dialogue process between the two countries aimed to resolve the issues through negotiations would always be considered as a welcome step.

The spokesman said despite pressures and problems faced by the premiers of both the countries, the decision to continue with the talks are in the interest of the people of south Asia.

The hurriyat said that it has always been the policy of conglomerate that Kashmir dispute should be solved through result oriented peaceful talks between all the stakeholders. Hurriyat desires that the meeting between the Indian and Pakistani prime ministers would lay the ground to solve Kashmir issue and other problems.

The spokesman said that the two prime ministers in the future should show similar courage and foresightedness and continue with talks despite pressures faced by them for lasting peace in South Asia.
