A special Police officer (SPO) who sustained serious injuries after militants fired upon him, succumbed to his injuries.
Official sources said that the cop Aaqib Ahmed Wagay son of Ab Ahad Wagay resident of Panzgam Pulwama age about 23/24 yrs, SPO who was injured at Panzgam after militants attacked him, succumbed to his injuries on Saturday in SKIMS Soura.
He was today shifted to SKIMS from 92 base hospital, sources said.
