Srinagar
Three central reserve police personnel and two pedestrians including a woman were injured after unknown persons lobbed a grenade on CRPF party at Fatehkadal area of downtown in Srinagar on Saturday.
Official sources said that the unknown persons hurled a grenade on CRPF 82 battalion (F coy) at Fatehkadal.
In the incident, three CRPF men sustained splinter injuries, they said.
Two pedestrians including a woman also said to have received injuries in the blast, they said.
All the injured were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.
Top police official while confirming the grenade attack on CRPF said that the paramilitary men were deployed in the area for law and order.
Meanwhile, area has been cordoned off.
