Innocents Must Not Suffer During Pahalgam Attack Probe: CM Omar Abdullah

   

SRINAGAR: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday said that efforts to catch those responsible for the recent Pahalgam attack must not cause hardship to innocent civilians in Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to media persons in Srinagar, the Chief Minister said: “We all understand the situation here. It will take time. We must ensure that innocent people of Jammu & Kashmir are not affected in our efforts to catch those involved in the Pahalgam attack. We have conveyed this concern.”

He urged that operations to trace the culprits be carried out with caution to avoid any inconvenience to the general public.

When asked about his recent meeting with the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister declined to share details “Keep my meeting with the PM as such. Let it remain between us, what we talked about in the meeting.” (JKNS)
