Dineshwar Sharma, Government of India’s special representative to “initiate” and “carry forward dialogue” on Jammu and Kashmir, is likely to visit Kashmir on Monday, reports quoting sources said.

Sharma will be meeting the students and representatives of youth organisations, they said.

He is likely to meet the other groups of the political parties and individuals. He will be in Srinagar for four days and meet people to “understand their aspirations”.

During his stay, he will be meeting the Government officials as well. Meeting with Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra and Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is also scheduled, reports added.

The former Director of Intelligence Bureau is likely to visit Jammu for two days after his stay in Kashmir.
