Srinagar

Keeping in view the frequent internet suspension in Kashmir, the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Saturday appealed to the state government to extend the date of submission of GST returns.

“We are writing to draw your kind attention towards the problem being faced by dealers in uploading their GST returns due to the non-availability and/or slow speed of Internet facility,” he said in a letter.

Senior vice president, KCCI, Nasir Hamid Khan in a letter has requested BB Vyas, the advisor to Governor, to extend the date for submission of returns by ten days so that dealers are not penalized for the uncertain situation prevailing in the state.
