Authorities on Wednesday snapped the internet service in south Kashmir’s  Pulwama district following the killing of a militant in a brief shootout in Chowduribagh area of Litter.

Reports said that soon after the killing of a militant, the authorities suspended the Internet service in Pulwama district.

Earlier, militants attacked an army patrolling party of 55 RR in Chowduribagh. He said the army retaliated, triggering a brief shootout in which one militant was killed.
