SRINAGAR: Internet services were reportedly disrupted in parts of Central Delhi on Monday as security was intensified during the Cockroach Janta Party’s protest march towards Parliament.

Thousands of protesters reportedly gathered near Jantar Mantar, prompting Delhi Police to deploy heavy security, erect barricades and restrict movement in the area. Several demonstrators were detained after attempting to march towards Parliament, according to reports.
Minor clashes were also reported after some protesters allegedly tried to breach police barricades.
Amid the heightened security, Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat and Seva Teerth Metro stations were closed until further instructions for security reasons.
