Internet services, including landline broadband connections, were restored in islamabad, kulgam, pulwama and shopian districts of south Kashmir on monday after remaining suspended for three consecutive days as a “precautionary measure”.
The internet services were snapped on August 4, 2018, following an encounter between the government forces and militants in shopian village.
The service was suspened soon after the news of an encounter spread in the area. Five militants and a civilian was killed during an encounter.
