Authorities on Wednesday snapped the Internet service in police district Awantipora following the cordon and search operation in Bhaderwan area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that soon after forces launch CASO the authorities suspended the Internet service in police district Awantipora which includes Pampore, Awantipora, and Tral.
Earlier a joint team of army’s army’s 55 RR, 44 RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police launched the operation after the militant movement was detected in the area.
Locals said that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has begun in the area.
