Fourth Group: Headed by Ashfaq, Malik crossed over to ‘Azad Kashmir’ for arms training.
JKLF Chairperson, Muhammad Yasin Malik.

JKLF Chairperson Muhammad Yasin Malik Saturday said that “oppression and repression cannot defeat the passion of a nation”.

Reacting to the statement of RSS, Malik in a statement said, “Kashmiris have sacrificed their more than one lake people during the freedom movement. We have more than 500 martyr graveyards in Jammu Kashmir; our thousands have tolerated torture of Indian in jails, interrogation centers and army camps. Nor has these atrocities and oppressive acts of India succeeded in defeating our passion for freedom in past neither will this succeed in future.”

Malik said while reacting to news about RSS statement “advising government of India to suppress resistance movement in Jammu Kashmir with iron hands”.

JKLF chairperson said, “RSS statement is childish and ridiculous and it seems that RSS because of its hawkish mind set has lost all its wisdom.”

He said, “from 1947 India has applied its policy of state terrorism and oppression in Jammu Kashmir and its forces besides killing Lakhs of people subjected Lakhs to worst kind torture in jails, interrogation centers, army camps etc. from 1988 to 2015 more than hundred thousand Kashmiris have been martyred by Indian bullets and these martyrs are buried in more than 500 martyrs graveyards throughout Jammu Kashmir.”

Yasin Malik said, “not a single Kashmiri will be there, who has not tolerated torture, beatings and incarceration at the hands of Indians. More than ten thousand Kashmiris are missing in custody and thousand are buried in un-marked graves. Recently during 2008 to 2010, hundreds of innocent boys, youth, children and women were butchered by Indian forces and thousands of youth tolerated jails and interrogations. Even today all peaceful political activates are banned and thousands remain in jails, police stations and interrogation centers.”

“Nor has these atrocities and oppressive acts of India succeeded in defeating our passion for freedom in past neither will this succeed in future,” said Yasin Malik.

He said that RSS and India rulers must bear this historical fact “in mind that intimidations, threats ,killings and other oppression measures can never suppress  the resistance movement of people and that a nation that has been witnessing and tolerating  Indian state sponsored violence from last 65 years, cannot be frightened by such oppressive means and tactics.”
