IPS Officer Transferred From Ladakh to Delhi

   

SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday ordered the transfer of IPS officer Vikas Kumar, a 2013-batch officer of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre, from Ladakh to Delhi with immediate effect.

According to the order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Kumar has been transferred to Delhi until further orders.

The order stated: “With the approval of the Competent Authority, Sh. Vikas Kumar, IPS (AGMUT:2013) is hereby transferred from Ladakh to Delhi with immediate effect and until further orders.”

Kumar was serving as In-charge Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Ladakh-Kashmir Range (LKR) in Ladakh before his transfer.

The transfer was ordered on September 2, 2026.
