SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has assigned 2018-batch AGMUT-cadre IPS officer Deepika to look after the duties of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), Puducherry, and Coastal Security, Puducherry, with immediate effect as an interim arrangement.
Deepika was transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Puducherry on July 9 by the MHA and was recently relieved from her responsibilities in Jammu and Kashmir.
An officer of the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre, Deepika has held several key policing assignments in Jammu and Kashmir. She has served as Superintendent of Police (SP), Headquarters, Anantnag, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), State Investigation Agency (SIA), Jammu, and SSP Kathua.
Her latest assignment in Puducherry comes after her transfer from Jammu and Kashmir, where she served in various senior policing and investigation-related positions.
