SRINAGAR
A medical camp was organized by Indian Red Cross Society, J&K State Branch at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Pampore.
Doctors and Para medical staff attended 139 patients (staff) and provided them with medicines. The doctors who treated the patients were ENT specialist, Ophthalmologist and a physician.
Red Cross internee also facilitated the team in registering of patients and other tasks. The patients who were examined included the drivers, conductors, contractors, security personals, office guards, painters, clerks, sweepers, electricians, laborers, gardeners, technical staff etc. of the HPCL Gas Plant. It is place to mention that the Red Cross has trained recently a group of staff members in First Aid.
