Unidentified gunmen fired upon a Sarpanch in the outskirts of Sopore town in north Kashmir, Friday afternoon.
Police sources told Kashmir Life that the suspected militants fired upon Khazir Mohammad Parray son of Mohammad Ramzan Parray resident of Krankshivan. He was critically injured and shifted to hospital.
They added that Khazir 30, was shot when he came out of a local Mosque after Friday, prayers.
Police sources said that Khazir Mohammd was hit by bullet on his chin and he was critical.
