SRINAGAR: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced recruitment for 51 vacancies in the positions of Head Constable (Motor Mechanic) and Constable (Motor Mechanic).
Applications will be accepted online from 24 December 2024 to 22 January 2025. The positions are open to Indian citizens, including those from Nepal and Bhutan, with an age limit of 18–25 years, subject to government norms for relaxation. Applicants for the Head Constable role must have passed the 12th grade, hold a certificate in Motor Mechanics or an equivalent qualification, and have three years of relevant experience. For the Constable position, candidates must have passed the 10th grade and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or have three years of work experience.
The selection process includes a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), a Physical Standard Test (PST), a written examination, a skill test, document verification, and a medical examination. Applicants are required to register on the official ITBP recruitment portal, complete the application form, pay the applicable fee (Rs 100 for General/OBC candidates; free for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen), and ensure submission before the deadline.
