IUST, Islamia College Postpone Exams; KU, JKBOSE to Proceed as Scheduled

   

SRINAGAR: The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) and Islamia College of Science & Commerce have postponed their scheduled examinations for today.

According to an official notification, the Controller of Examinations at IUST said, “The first-semester exams scheduled for 28-02-2025 have been postponed. Fresh dates will be announced later.”

Similarly, an official notice from Islamia College confirmed that all exams slated for February 28, 2025, stand postponed.

However, officials from the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), the University of Kashmir, and Cluster University Srinagar have confirmed that their exams will continue as scheduled. They assured that students unable to appear for their exams today would be given another opportunity.

Meanwhile, heavy rain and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir over the past 24 hours have disrupted road, air, and rail travel, leading to the closure of several key highways, including the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), due to snow accumulation, landslides, and shooting stones.
