SRINAGAR: Former Indian cricket star Ajay Jadeja praised Jammu and Kashmir and expressed his appreciation for the hospitality of its people.

Speaking at the Royal Spring Golf Course in Srinagar, Jadeja referred to Kashmir as a paradise on earth. He mentioned that despite having played golf across the world, he had never expected the Srinagar golf course to be so beautiful.

Jadeja also commended the people’s hospitality, emphasising that one truly understands their blessings only upon visiting the region. He mentioned that his colleagues Yuvraj Singh and Ajeet Agarkar, who had never been to Kashmir before, were now eager to revisit this remarkable place.

Secretary of Tourism, Syed Abid Rashid, acknowledged the cricketing heroes’ transition into excellent golf players and expressed delight in hosting them. He highlighted the exceptional beauty and magnificence of Jammu and Kashmir, noting the remarkable opportunities for golf, including renowned courses like The Royal Springs, Jammu Tawi, and Pahalgam. He extended a warm welcome to all those interested in visiting J&K for golfing purposes.(KNS)
