SRINAGAR: A female body was recovered from Nallah Doodhganga in the Wathora area of Chadoora, in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday afternoon.
According to official sources, locals discovered the body of a woman near Wathora playground and promptly informed the police.
The woman was identified by locals as Jameela, the wife of Haji Gh Ahmad Wagay from the nearby village of Buchroo. It is reported that she slipped while crossing the temporary bridge on Nallah Shaliganga as she was on her way to the agricultural field.
“The body has been recovered from the scene, and further investigations have commenced,” stated the official. (KNO)
