SRINAGAR: Ved Marwah who flew to Srinagar as the Chief of the National Security Guards (NSG) in 1989 and laws later appointed as the adviser to the then governor, Jagmohan has died, reports said.

Marwah was 87. He died in Goa. Later, he was appointed as governor of Mizoram.

Reports said Marwah was admitted to a private hospital in Mapusa where he breathed his last. He was in the hospital for almost three weeks after he had a fall at his home.
