SRINAGAR: A 62-year-old woman from Miran Sahib Jammu on Saturday died of covid-19 at GMC Jammu, taking the death toll due to the virus to 38 in Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said that that the elderly woman from Miran Sahib Jammu was admitted on May 24 and tested positive subsequently.
He said that she was suffering from heart and orthopaedic problems and died today.
With his death, the number of casualties due to the novel Coronavirus has reached 38 in J&K.
Earlier, a 70-year-old man from Nowpora Shopian died at CD hospital Srinagar due to COVID-19.
