Chief Engineer(C E ) PHE on Thursday visited District Shopian. He was accompanied by SE Ground Water, SE Hydraulic, Exn Mechanical, EXn PHE.
Interacting with the District Development Commissioner Shopian Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin, the C E discussed the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.
The J J M envisages a structural change in drinking water supply service by providing functional household tap connection (FHTC) to every rural household.
Chief Planning Officer and other district officers were present on the occasion.
