Jama’at-e-Islami Pays Tributes to Kareemabad Slain Militants

A high level delegation of Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) J&K Friday visited Kareemabad Pulwama and expressed solidarity with the family of Afaq Ullah Pandit and paid glorious tributes to “martyrs”.

According to a statement issued to KNS, the JeI spokesperson while speaking on the occasion threw brief light on the “philosophy of Martyrdom and urged Muslims to unite for the cause of Islam which is the need of hour”. He said, “the inner difference within the Ummah is the basic cause of our downfall.”

He urged youth to achieve knowledge of Quran deeply in which lies the solution of all human problems. “He described the non-resolution of the long pending human issue of Kashmir the basic factor for bloodshed in the region and urged international community and other human rights organizations to come forward for the resolution of Kashmir issue according to the wishes of the people of J&K,” the statement said.
