SRINAGAR: A fresh Western Disturbance (WD) is set to impact Jammu and Kashmir’s weather tomorrow. This disturbance is projected to bring light to moderate precipitation, including rain and snow, across portions of Kashmir from tomorrow afternoon onwards.

Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, Director of the Meteorological Department (MeT), stated that the weather would generally be cloudy, with the possibility of light to moderate rains, snow, thunder, lightning, and gusty winds in the plains of Kashmir and Jammu divisions.

Independent Weather Forecaster Faizan Arif Keng also mentioned that most parts of the Kashmir Valley would experience rain and snow by tomorrow evening.

He noted that rain and snow activities could continue in some areas on March 22nd, with the least impact expected in Jammu, Samba, and Kathua districts. There is also a possibility of hailstorms and gusty winds during this period.

However, the MeT Director indicated that March 23rd would generally be dry, while March 24th is expected to be generally cloudy with light rain and snow in isolated places.

While March 25th and 26th are predicted to be dry, the MeT Director stated that from March 27th to March 29th, the weather would be generally cloudy with a possibility of light rain and snow in a few places—(KNO)
