SRINAGAR: A primary school teacher in Reasi district has been Suspended from duty as a step in response to a video circulating online. The video captured Dalair Singh, the teacher from Dharidhar village of Chassana, in a less than ideal state while on duty.
The chief education officer of Reasi swiftly addressed the situation by initiating Singh’s suspension and launching an inquiry into the incident.
According to an official statement, “Pending the inquiry into his conduct, Singh is placed under suspension with immediate effect in connection with a viral video.”
The suspended teacher has been directed to report to the DC office in Reasi for further duties as part of the ongoing process.
