SRINAGAR: An Agniveer soldier was injured after his weapon went off accidentally at the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu Kashmir on Thursday.
Officials said that this morning, an Agniveer accidentally shot himself in the right toe during a post-firing drill while cleaning his weapon.
The injured soldier has been identified as Krishna Pal Singh. He was immediately shifted to nearby hospital for treatment, they added. (GNS)
