SRINAGAR: BL Saini on Thursday assumed charge as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of JK Bank, taking over the responsibility of overseeing vigilance, integrity, transparency and accountability within the bank.
The Chief Vigilance Officer is entrusted with upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency and accountability across the organisation.
Saini joined the State Bank of India (SBI) as a Probationary Officer in 1995 and brings more than three decades of experience in banking operations, business leadership, governance, audit and compliance.
Before joining JK Bank, he served as General Manager, Chief Audit Officer (Delhi Circle), SBI, where he oversaw audit and compliance for around 1,700 branches across Delhi, Uttarakhand and parts of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, strengthening governance, internal controls and regulatory compliance.
Earlier, as General Manager (Network-II), Bhopal, he headed business and operations across 31 districts of Madhya Pradesh, leading the network to emerge among the top performers on various business parameters.
During his career with SBI, Saini also served as Deputy General Manager (Business and Operations) in Uttarakhand, where SBI was the Convenor of the State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), and played a key role in implementing various government initiatives and aspirational projects. He also held the post of Deputy General Manager (Business and Operations), Noida.
He has served in several other key assignments, including in Leh-Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Mumbai and other parts of the country, and has received multiple Chairman’s Club recognitions for outstanding performance.
