SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) on Saturday conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for the GNM Lateral Entry Course for the academic session 2026–27 at centres in Srinagar and Jammu.
The examination was held at SP College, MARoad, Srinagar, in the Kashmir division, and Government MAM. College, Jammu, in the Jammu division. A total of 463 candidates from across the Union Territory appeared in the test.
According to officials, adequate arrangements were put in place in coordination with the respective college administrations and law enforcement agencies to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
The examination concluded peacefully without any untoward incident, under the supervision of staff deployed at both centres.
Chairperson of BOPEE, Professor Minu Mahajan, along with members, the Secretary, Controller of Examinations, and other officials, closely monitored the conduct of the entrance test at both venues.
The BOPEE leadership thanked the staff of the participating colleges and officials deployed under the supervision of the respective Deputy Commissioners for ensuring the orderly conduct of the examination.
