Sources said that inspector Bhopinder Singh, SHO Ramgarh, along with a PSI and two ASIs, has been placed under suspension and attached to the District Police Lines (DPL), Samba, pending the outcome of a departmental inquiry.

The SSP has also ordered a detailed investigation into the allegations to establish the facts and determine accountability in the handling of the sensitive case, sources said.

As part of the administrative reshuffle, Inspector Ajay Singh Chib has been posted as the new SHO of Ramgarh Police Station.
