SRINAGAR: Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, unveiled J&K Bank’s much-anticipated Wall Calendar for 2025 during a ceremony at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar. The event saw the presence of the Bank’s Managing Director and CEO Amitava Chatterjee, Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, General Manager Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, Deputy General Manager Manju Gupta, and other senior officials.

Lauding the calendar’s theme, Chief Secretary Dulloo commended J&K Bank for capturing the ongoing transformation in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh through the lens of landmark infrastructure projects. “This calendar aligns with the Government’s vision of comprehensive and inclusive economic development. It showcases the infrastructural advancements that embody progress and prosperity for the region,” he remarked. He also emphasised the pivotal role of J&K Bank as a major institution in driving inclusive economic growth in the Union Territory.
MD and CEO Amitava Chatterjee expressed gratitude for the J&K Government’s steadfast support, highlighting the calendar’s significance beyond its functional purpose. “Ou calendar is a testament to our deep connection with the people and the region. By featuring milestones like the Reasi Bridge and AIIMS Jammu, we aim to inspire pride and optimism about the region’s development,” he said.
Executive Director Sudhir Gupta echoed similar sentiments, noting the calendar’s ability to reflect the aspirations of the people while reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to economic progress.
The 2025 calendar celebrates transformative projects, including the world’s highest railway bridge in Reasi, the Clock Tower at Lal Chowk, AIIMS in Jammu, the Kargil Sports Stadium, and the Indian Astronomical Observatory at Hanle. Each page highlights these achievements, offering a glimpse into the developmental strides of the region.
To enhance its functionality, the calendar features QR codes linked to product details on the Bank’s website. Additionally, J&K Bank is promoting sustainability with an eco-friendly e-Calendar, soon available for download on Android and iOS platforms.
