Farooq Ahmad Ganie (AEE) secured victory, being elected as the President by a significant margin, while Irfan Ahmad Reshi was elected unopposed as the General Secretary.

The election proceedings were closely observed by a distinguished panel, including retired Chief Engineers, Executive Engineers (XENs), the President of JKMEGA, the President of JKEEGA, and other senior officials. Engineers from all levels—ranging from Junior Engineers (JEs) to Chief Engineers—from both the Roads & Buildings (R&B) and Hydraulic sectors actively participated in the voting process.

The elections are seen as a crucial step towards strengthening the association’s vision and reinforcing the representation of civil engineers in Jammu and Kashmir. The newly elected leadership is expected to focus on professional development and collective progress within the engineering fraternity.
