SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has reconstituted the Standing Committee responsible for vetting and finalising Recruitment Rules for gazetted and non-gazetted services, appointing the Director Finance as a member in place of the Secretary (Technical) of the ARI and Trainings Department.
According to an official order, the Director Finance—who also holds the additional charge of Financial Adviser and Chief Accounts Officer in the ARI and Trainings Department—will serve on the committee. The change has been made through a partial modification of Government Order No. 985-JK (GAD) of 2024, dated April 29.
The order clarifies that the Director Finance will replace the Secretary (Technical), ARI and Trainings Department, on the Standing Committee, while all other provisions of the earlier government order will remain unchanged.
The Standing Committee is tasked with examining and finalising Recruitment Rules for various services across departments in Jammu and Kashmir.
