SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has issued orders assigning additional charges to several officials across key departments, effective immediately, to ensure smooth administrative functioning.
The Directorate General of Accounts and Treasuries, in Order No. 32-Acctts of 2026, directed that Jatinder Kumar, AAO, Chief Engineer Project Wing, JPDCL, Jammu, will also hold the charge of AAO, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Jammu, in addition to his current responsibilities. Amit Kumar Pandith, AAO, (PMP) Industries and Commerce Department, Civil Secretariat, has been tasked with overseeing accounts-related work in the General Administration Department (GAD) alongside his existing duties.
In Kashmir, Khair-ul-Faisal, AAO, Directorate of School Education, will hold the charge of AAO, Deputy Director Estates, Kashmir, in place of Mohd Iqbal Kaloo, AAO, Audit and Inspections, while continuing his current work. Ramesh Lal, AAO, Cooperative Department, Civil Secretariat, will assume additional responsibility for AAO, Tribal Affairs Department, until Deepshikha Pandita returns from leave.
In Jammu, Jagdish Kumar, AAO, Electric Central Workshop Division, will take charge of AAO, TLMD-V, in addition to his ongoing duties until Jameel Ahmad resumes from leave. Meanwhile, Shafat-ul-Rehman, AAO, Government Medical College, Rajouri, has been given additional charge of AAO, PMSY Division, Rajouri, alongside his current responsibilities.
The order, signed by the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, Finance Department, emphasises that the officials are required to carry out their additional responsibilities with immediate effect.
The assignments are aimed at maintaining administrative continuity and ensuring effective management of accounts and financial functions across departments in Jammu and Kashmir.
