SRINAGAR: The Finance Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer, posting and additional charge assignment of 19 Accounts and Treasury Officers with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 213-F of 2026, dated June 16, 2026, issued by Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (ACS), these changes have been made in the interest of administration with immediate effect.
The detailed structural shifts include Amir Qazi, Accounts Officer from the Office of Director General Prosecution, who was holding additional charge of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Jammu, being posted as Accounts Officer at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry, Jammu on a full-time basis. Sanjay Koul, Additional Treasury Officer at Sadder Treasury, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Directorate General, Accounts and Treasuries, replacing Ajaz Ahmad Wani. Shiv Dass Gupta, Accounts Officer, ARI and Trainings Department, has been posted as Accounts Officer, Office of Director General, Prosecution, replacing Amir Qazi. In turn, Ajaz Ahmad Wani is transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Regional Transport Office, Kashmir, which relieves Shamim Ajaz of his additional charge of the post.
The order further directs that Himayoon Majeed, Treasury Officer, Karnah, is transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, State Motor Garages, relieving Naresh Kumar Bhat of his additional charge. Shreya Proach, Accounts Officer, Lakhanpur Sarthal Tourism Development Authority, is transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Deputy Commissioner office, Jammu, relieving Abhinn Raina of his additional charge. Pariksha Sharma, Accounts Officer, Municipal Council, Rajouri, has been posted as Accounts Officer, District Fund Office, Udhampur, relieving Sachin Kumar of his additional charge. Saima Ashraf, Pay and AO Municipal Council, Kupwara, is transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Directorate of Horticulture, Kashmir, relieving Mohd Akbar Bhat of his additional charge. Taraq Ahmad, Pay and AO, KPDCL Sopore, is transferred and posted as Treasury Officer, Karnah, replacing Himayoon Majeed. Anjali Bhardwaj, Additional Treasury Officer, Samba, who was holding additional charge of Sub Treasury, Billawar, is posted as Treasury Officer, Billawar on a full-time basis. Sanjay Pandoh, I/C Accounts Officer, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Udhampur, is transferred and posted as Additional Treasury Officer, Sadder Treasury, Jammu, replacing Sanjay Koul. Altaf Hussain, I/C Accounts Officer, Office of Transport Commissioner, is posted as Accounts Officer, IGP, Traffic JK, relieving Hitesh Kumar of his additional charge. Mohd Shafi Lone, I/C Accounts Officer, Municipal Council, Budgam, is transferred and posted as Accounts Officer, Doodpathri Tourism Development Authority, Budgam, relieving Nazir Ahmad Zargar of his additional charge.
In addition to full-time transfers, several officers have been assigned additional charges until further orders to ensure uninterrupted governance. Zahoor Ahmad War, Accounts Officer, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Sopore, will hold the charge of the post of Pay and AO, KPDCL Sopore in addition to his own duties. Ishtiaq Ahmad, Accounts Officer, Addl. District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, will hold the charge of the post of Pay and AO Municipal Council, Rajouri in addition to his own duties. Javaid Ahmad Wani, Accounts Officer, Deputy Commissioner Office, Kupwara, will hold the charge of the post of Pay and AO, Municipal Council, Kupwara in addition to his own duties. Rakesh Kumar, I/C Accounts Officer, District Jail, Udhampur, will hold the charge of the post of Accounts Officer, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Udhampur in addition to his own duties. Nikhil Sharma, Accounts Officer, Addl. District Development Commissioner, Kathua, will hold the charge of the post of Accounts Officer, Lakhanpur-Sarthal Tourism Development Authority in addition to his own duties. Finally, Nazir Ahmad Zargar, I/C Accounts Officer, Yousmarg Tourism Dev. Authority, will hold the charge of the post of Pay and AO, Municipal Council, Budgam in addition to his own duties.
