SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday designated feeding departments for its ministers.
As per the official notification Surinder Kumar Choudhary Deputy Chief Minister, has been assigned the Public Works (R&B), Industries and Commerce, Mining, Labour and Employment, and Skill Development portfolios. The Public Works (R&B) Department will serve as his feeding department.
Sakeena Masood Itoo, handling Health and Medical Education, School Education, Higher Education, and Social Welfare, will have the Higher Education Department as her feeding department.
Javed Ahmed Rana, in charge of Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environment, and Tribal Affairs, is assigned the Jal Shakti Department.
Javid Ahmad Dar will oversee Agriculture Production, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Cooperatives, and Elections, with the Agriculture Production Department as his feeding department.
Satish Sharma, responsible for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science and Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, and ARI and Trainings, will be supported by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs.
