SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of 12 Junior Scale Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers in the Industries and Commerce Department with immediate effect.
The changes have been notified through Government Order No. 116-JK (IND) of 2026, dated October 19, issued by the Industries and Commerce Department.
Under the order, Ujwal Singh Sambyal, who was serving as Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Reasi, with additional charge of Assistant Director, Handloom, and Assistant Director, Rajouri, Handicrafts and Handloom, has been posted as Project Manager, District Industries Centre (DIC), Samba.
Mohd Sagir, who was awaiting an adjustment, has been posted as Project Manager, DIC Udhampur, while Devia Nanda has been appointed Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Reasi, with additional charge of Assistant Director, Handloom, Reasi, in place of Sambyal.
Rakesh Kumar has been posted as Functional Manager, DIC Samba, while Aamina Lateef has been appointed Assistant Director, Handloom, Kupwara, with additional charge of Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Kupwara. The latter arrangement relieves Mohd Yousuf Lone, Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Baramulla, of his additional charge of the two Kupwara posts.
Aamir Bashir Runyal has been posted as Functional Manager, DIC Jammu, and Sunil Kumar as Assistant Director, Handicrafts, Udhampur, with additional charge of Assistant Director, Handloom, Udhampur.
Among the probationers, Ayush Abrol has been posted as Functional Manager, DIC Kathua; Shakshi Parihar as Assistant Director, Handloom, Samba; Ghulam Jallani as Functional Manager, DIC Srinagar; Vikas Bin Hassan as Functional Manager, DIC Pulwama; and Hameem Akhter as Project Manager, DIC Jammu.
