SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has appointed nodal officers at the Union Territory and district levels to coordinate the nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign 5 scheduled to be held in November 2026.
An order issued by the Finance Department on October 5 said the Director, Accounts and Treasuries, Kashmir, has been designated as the UT-level nodal officer for overall coordination, supervision and monitoring of the campaign.
The Saddar Treasury Officers of Jammu and Srinagar and all District Treasury Officers have been designated as district-level nodal officers. They will coordinate with J&K Bank branches, sub-treasuries, district administrations and other stakeholders to disseminate information among pensioners, address field-level issues and submit periodic progress reports.
The UT-level nodal officer has been directed to submit weekly progress reports to the Directorate General Accounts and Treasuries, Finance Department, until completion of the campaign.
The government said the detailed procedure for submission of Digital Life Certificates by pensioners would be notified separately.
