Jammu Kashmir: Govt Approves Mutual Transfer of Teachers

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has approved the inter-divisional mutual transfer of two teachers from Poonch and Baramulla districts on a reciprocal basis, according to an order issued by the School Education Department.

Under the order, Sanjeev Kumar, Teacher at Middle School Dhan Dhana in Zone Mandi, Poonch, will be transferred to the post held by Iftkhar Amhed, Teacher at Middle School Mahyan in Zone Tangmarg, Baramulla, while Amhed will move to Kumar’s place of posting.

The transfers have been approved based on recommendations received from the Directorates of School Education Jammu and Kashmir.

The department said both teachers will retain their lien, seniority and promotion prospects in their respective parent cadres. However, they will be required to serve for at least three years in the schools to which they are being transferred and will not be eligible for promotion during the applicable period.

The order also stipulates that the teachers must have completed their prescribed tenure in RBA/ALC areas, wherever applicable, under the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004.
