SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has accepted the technical resignation of Dr Shallu Jamwal, Assistant Professor (Antenatal Medical Officer-cum-Lecturer) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Government Medical College (GMC), Kathua, enabling her to join AIIMS, Vijaypur, Samba.
The Health and Medical Education Department issued Government Order No. 675-JK(HME) of 2026 on September 3, accepting her resignation with effect from July 13, 2026, on her own request.
The decision has been taken under Article 201 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services Regulations (CSR), 1956, Volume-I.
The order was issued on the basis of a letter from the Principal, GMC Kathua, bearing No. GMCK/E-I/2026-27/273 dated July 17, 2026.
