Jammu Kashmir Govt Asks Employees To Attend ‘Seva Bhav’ Session on October 7

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has asked all administrative departments, heads of departments and public-sector bodies to ensure wider participation of officials in a special iGOT-Karmayogi session on citizen-centric public service scheduled for Wednesday, 7 October.

The one-hour session on ‘Seva Bhav’ will be held online from 11 am to noon and will be moderated by Dr R Balasubramaniam, Member, NITI Aayog. Officials attending the session through the iGOT-Karmayogi platform will receive special credits under the ‘Service Orientation’ competency.

The General Administration Department issued Circular No. 21-JK(GAD) of 2026 on October 6, directing Administrative Secretaries and Heads of Departments, PSUs and corporations to disseminate details of the session among employees, including those in attached and subordinate offices and field formations.

According to the circular, the session is being organised by Karmayogi Bharat as part of efforts under Mission Karmayogi to promote citizen-centricity and strengthen empathy, responsiveness and a citizen-first approach in public-service delivery.

The session will be streamed live on the iGOT-Karmayogi platform for government employees across Central Ministries, Departments, States and Union Territories. The session link is to be made available under the platform’s Events section.

The GAD has asked departments to treat the matter as “most urgent” in view of the session being scheduled for October 7.
