SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday announced changes in the administrative responsibilities of several senior officers, assigning additional departmental charges to three officers and transferring two others to new positions with immediate effect.
Under the orders, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department, Shailendra Kumar, IAS, has been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, until further orders.
Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Public Works (R&B) Department, Anil Kumar Singh, IAS, will also take charge of the Power Development Department as Administrative Secretary.
Similarly, Commissioner/Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department, Vikramjit Singh, IPS, has been assigned additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Mining Department.
The Government has also transferred Director General, Women and Child Development, J&K, Mir Tariq Ali, IAS, and posted him as Secretary, Civil Aviation Department.
Director, Social Welfare Kashmir, Mohammad Akbar Wani, IAS, has been appointed Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.
Meanwhile, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, J&K, Leena Padha, IAS, has been given additional responsibility as Mission Director, Skill Development Mission, while retaining her existing duties.
