SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned additional charges to six Accounts Officers across various departments with immediate effect in the interest of administration, according to an order issued by the Finance Department.
The appointments were made through Government Order No. 248-F of 2026, dated July 29, and will remain in force until further orders or until the concerned officers on leave resume their duties, as applicable.
Under the order, Mohd Imran Banday, Accounts Officer, Government Dental College, Jammu, has been given the additional charge of Accounts Officer, Government Ranbir Press, Jammu.
Abid Shafiq Chowdhary, Accounts Officer, Pay and Accounts Office, JPDCL, Rajouri, has been assigned the additional charge of Pay and Accounts Officer, Municipal Council, Rajouri, until Ishtiaq Ahmad returns from leave.
Bharti Sharma, Accounts Officer, District Fund Office, Rajouri, will additionally serve as Accounts Officer in the office of the Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, until Ishtiaq Ahmad resumes duty.
Javaid Ahmad Bhat, In-Charge Accounts Officer, Lake Conservation Management Authority, Srinagar, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Accounts Officer, SKICC, Srinagar, until further orders.
Manmohan Singh, In-Charge Accounts Officer in the office of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar, has been assigned the additional charge of Accounts Officer, CID Special Branch, Kashmir, until further orders.
Bashir Ahmad Khan, In-Charge Accounts Officer in the office of the Chief Engineer, Project Wing, KPDCL, Srinagar, has been given the additional charge of Accounts Officer, Chief Engineer, Mechanical and Hospital Engineering Department, Kashmir, until Bazila Javid returns from leave.
The order was issued by the Finance Department under the authority of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
