According to Circular No. 16-JK (GAD) of 2026, dated August 5, 2026, all employees are required to complete a minimum of 50 hours of training annually through the iGOT Karmayogi platform.

The GAD said the Capacity Building Plan (CBP), finalised by a committee constituted under Government Order No. 1342-JK(GAD) of 2025 dated October 14, 2025, has been hosted on the iGOT Karmayogi portal.

As part of the plan, designation-wise virtual training interventions identified under the Capacity Building Calendar have been mapped to the respective profiles of officials on the platform. The exercise is aimed at addressing competency and capacity gaps associated with different positions, the department said.

The government has directed employees to immediately enrol in and complete the courses assigned to their profiles.

The assigned courses will appear under the ‘Upcoming’ section of ‘My Space’ on employees’ respective iGOT Karmayogi profiles, according to the circular.
