Jammu Kashmir Govt Directs Employees To Complete Mandatory iGOT Karmayogi Training

   

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has directed all employees registered on the General Administration Department’s (GAD) MDO Portal to immediately enrol in and complete the online training courses assigned to them through the iGOT Karmayogi platform as part of its Capacity Building Programme (CBP).

According to a circular issued by the General Administration Department, the department’s Capacity Building Plan has been uploaded on the iGOT Karmayogi portal after being finalised by a committee constituted under Government Order No. 1342-JK(GAD) of 2025.

The circular states that designation-wise virtual training interventions identified under the Capacity Building Calendar have been mapped to the respective iGOT Karmayogi profiles of officials to address competency and capacity gaps associated with their posts.

It said that under the implementation norms of the Capacity Building Programme, every employee is required to complete a minimum of 50 hours of training annually through the iGOT Karmayogi platform.

The GAD has instructed all employees to immediately enrol in the courses assigned to their profiles. The courses will be available under the “Upcoming” tab in the “My Space” section of their respective iGOT Karmayogi accounts.

The circular, issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government M. Raju, said the initiative aims to strengthen the skills and professional competencies of government employees through structured online learning aligned with the requirements of their respective positions.
