SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old man died of electrocution while working in Poonch district on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Fareed, son of Mohd Nazir, resident of Khari Karma, Poonch.
Quoting officials news agency GNS reported that he received a severe electric shock during work and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Doctors, however, declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
