SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department on Saturday extended the deadline for online fee submission against the Round-1 College/Major allotment list for undergraduate and integrated postgraduate programmes till June 8, 2026.
According to an official notice issued by the Directorate of Colleges (No: DC-HE/2026/1720), the decision was taken after multiple representations from candidates seeking additional time to complete the fee payment process.
The notice further stated that students who have already paid their fees must report to their allotted institutions for physical verification of documents between June 8 and June 10, 2026.
It warned that failure to complete any of the required steps within the stipulated timeline may lead to cancellation of the allotted seat.
Candidates have been advised to regularly consult the official JK Admissions portal and the dedicated WhatsApp channel for updates. All other terms and conditions of the original allotment notification will remain unchanged.
The extension is applicable to all government degree colleges across the Union Territory, including institutions affiliated with the universities of Jammu and Kashmir and the Cluster Universities of Srinagar and Jammu.
