SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has fixed a maximum period of seven working days for conducting field inspections related to eight online services under the Business Reforms Action Plan (BRAP) of the Housing and Urban Development Department.
The timeline will be counted from the date an inspection is scheduled or an application is received on the concerned online portal, according to Government Order No. 193-JK(HUD) of 2026 issued on September 11.
The order covers the Certificate of Vending (Street Vendor License), Municipal Trade License or NOC for Commercial Establishments, Sewerage Connection and Building Plan Approval.
The seven-working-day limit will also apply to permissions for alteration and addition, revision or revalidation of buildings; demolition and reconstruction of buildings; plinth approval; and occupancy or completion certificates.
The notification was issued in continuation of Government Order No. 43-JK(HUD) of 2026 dated February 27, 2026.
