SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has prescribed time limits for providing four services related to technical education, including correction of marks sheets and diploma certificates, issuance of duplicate documents and verification, under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department on October 28, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education will have to complete verification of documents, both online and offline, within 10 days. The other three services have been assigned a deadline of 30 days each.
The notification, issued as S.O. 277, designates the Deputy Registrar of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Technical Education as the officer responsible for providing the services.
The services covered include correction of marks sheets and diploma certificates, issuance of duplicate marks sheets, issuance of duplicate diploma certificates and online or offline verification.
The Registrar of the Board of Technical Education has been designated as the first appellate authority, while the Secretary/Controller of the Board will serve as the second appellate authority.
The notification was issued by the General Administration Department under Section 4 read with Section 8 of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Services Guarantee Act, 2011.
