SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department has ordered the transfer and posting of an associate professor and assigned him the charge of principal at Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar, according to an official order issued on June 8, 2026.
As per Government Order No. 165-JK(HE) of 2026, issued by the Higher Education Department, the posting has been made in partial modification of an earlier order dated May 18, 2026.
Daljeet Singh, Associate Professor (Chemistry) at GGM Science College, Jammu, who is currently on deputation to Cluster University of Jammu, and was earlier posted as in-charge principal of GDC Tangmarg with effect from July 1, 2026, has now been posted as in-charge principal of GDC Ramnagar on a look-after basis against an available vacancy with immediate effect.
