SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered the transfer and posting of three engineers, all holding the charge of Executive Engineer, in the Power Development Department with immediate effect.
According to Government Order No. 179-JK(PDD) of 2026, Er. Sunil Gupta has been posted to STD-I, Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL), Jammu, after being placed as In-charge Executive Engineer and recalled from the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Er. Rajesh Sharma, who was on deputation to the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation (JKPDC), has been posted as Executive Engineer, Doda, JPDCL, against an available vacancy.
Er. Rakesh Sharma, presently posted in the Procurement Division, JPDCL, Jammu, has been placed on deputation to JKPDC in place of Rajesh Sharma.
The order stated that the transfers and postings were made in the interest of administration and for the smooth functioning of official work.
